The UB's Learning and Research Resources Centre (CRAI) was created at the start of 2004 to adapt the university libraries to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the European Research Area (ERA), in which a new framework of university teaching is taking shape, based on learning, research, development and innovation.
The CRAI offers its users some 1,700,000 paper information resources and almost 120,000 digital information resources.

The CRAI is staffed by 241 employees and 93 interns distributed among 16 libraries and 7 technical units. Libraries are based in the corresponding faculties, so our staff have direct contact with users, ensuring intimate knowledge of their expectations and needs.
